Textile Testing Equipments – Why Is This Important..
Color matching issues happen on a more frequent basis- Color matching issues within the apparel industry happen every once in awhile. That can be predicted, because the apparel industry uses a wide variety of materials like polyester, nylon, rayon, cotton, silk, etc., that potentially all need to match each other.
Everybody knows that no material supplier can match every color standard inside a CMC DE of .8 each time in your light sources. However, if Textile Testing Labs suddenly takes a nose-dive and they also begin sending you lab dips or production that seem to be NOTHING like your standard or are consistently above a 2. CMC DE without explanation, you must address it IMMEDIATELY with your supplier.
Tend not to pass go- usually do not collect $200. Have your corrective strategy in place and start its execution NOW. Don’t turn a blind eye and expect that things can get better. Color matching problems that go un-addressed always become worse, never better.
Material quality issues happen regularly- Your supplier used to submit passing test reports with every lot just like you required. Even better, they had an inside certified lab, tested everything internally, and never shipped anything outside your tolerance without forewarning along with a darn good reason (then only on rare occasions).
But lately, they are sending material to your garment makers with failing test reports with no prior warning or explanation, or they have stopped sending reports with all the goods altogether. Perhaps even your garment maker is re-testing the item because there are no test reports, in fact it is failing their in-house testing, which can be now holding up your garment production. Nip this in the bud immediately, by executing your brand’s corrective strategy.
After the problem is taken to their attention, the supplier offers to fix them- but the issue is never addressed fully. Sure, they read and respond to your emails a little faster for a couple of weeks after you bring the difficulties for their attention, and perhaps they even come visit in-person to smooth things over. But monthly later it’s deja-vu all over again, and you’re having the same issues as before.
Your garment maker refuses to maintain the easiest interaction with all the supplier without yourself on copy- At first, your garment maker only copied you on the most important issues. But over time due to these increased มาตรฐาน การทดสอบสิ่งทอ and quality issues, the garment maker has lost all trust within the material supplier and it is copying you on EVERYTHING. EVERY. LITTLE. THING. Additionally, the garment maker could even start to give you swatches of every roll of material, requiring sign-off from you (the manufacturer) before they will likely agree to cut it and produce your garments. This really is CYA at it’s finest, and i also don’t must tell you that you don’t have plenty of time to handle this.
The supplier changed your material specs without your consent. This is the ultimate sin in terms of I’m concerned, and it’s happening more and more frequently in these economic conditions. It always happens similar to this: you see increased material quality failures, send the samples off and away to a 3rd party lab to be analyzed, and also the weight is totally off, or perhaps the filament type used fails to satisfy your material spec sheet. A material failure will usually tip you off to the truth that the fabric that you will be pathaf shipped will not be what it really was supposed to have been. This occurs once, it’s time for corrective action plan. Should this happen twice, it’s time to discover a new supplier- a real supplier partner.
When is it time to express goodbye? You can find far too many quality material suppliers on the market so that you can be saddled with a bad performing supplier. Issues arise from time-to-time, but if 3 of the 5 issues above ring true for you at this time, it really is probably time to re-source your material to some supplier that will appreciate your business.
